# Droids (Factory.ai)

> Use ModelStack with Droids / Factory.ai BYOK

## Overview

Droids by Factory.ai supports BYOK-style configuration and can work with OpenAI-compatible APIs in compatible modes.

## Installation

```bash theme={null}
curl -fsSL https://app.factory.ai/cli | sh
```

## Configure ModelStack (BYOK)

In your BYOK/provider config, set:

* Base URL: `https://api.modelstack.cc/v1`
* API key: your ModelStack key
* Model: any [supported model](/models/supported-models)

## Troubleshooting

* Ensure your workspace is using BYOK mode
* Confirm endpoint and key values
* Confirm model ID is valid
