# Cline

> Use ModelStack with Cline - autonomous coding in VS Code

## Overview

Cline is a VS Code agentic coding extension with support for OpenAI-compatible providers.

## Installation

1. Open VS Code
2. Install **Cline** from Extensions

## Configure ModelStack

In Cline provider settings:

* Provider type: **OpenAI Compatible**
* Base URL: `https://api.modelstack.cc/v1`
* API key: your ModelStack key
* Model: e.g. `claude-sonnet-4-6`

## Usage

Open Cline panel and start tasks normally. Requests route through ModelStack.

## Troubleshooting

* Verify API key has credits
* Verify exact base URL
* Use model IDs from [supported models](/models/supported-models)
